Leland Mergillano is a multi-award-winning actor whose love for the performing arts took root early in his childhood. He grew up in a home filled with music, creativity, and the arts. Early piano lessons taught him discipline and emotional expression, while singing in chorus helped him develop an appreciation for harmony, collaboration, and shared artistry. His involvement in musical theatre sparked his imagination, built his confidence, and set the stage for a lifelong passion.

A particularly meaningful part of his upbringing was the time he spent at a local, family-owned theatre. The staff there became like a second family, offering support, encouragement, and inspiration that continue to shape his journey today. These early experiences laid a strong foundation for his future in the performing arts.

In his early teens, Leland began taking classes at an acting school, which opened the door to professional opportunities.
