Chia-Hui (Ellie) Shen has been awarded the Gold Prize in Original Composition with her work “Sterna Santa” at the Global Best Creative Awards 2025.

Chia-Hui (Ellie) Shen, a Taiwanese pianist and composer, holds a Master of
Music degree from the United States under the mentorship of Dr. Wesley Roberts. She
has performed internationally, including concerts in Italy with conductor Paolo Scibilia,
and was featured in Italian music media. Shen is Music Director of the Ars Nova Music
and Arts International Exchange Program and leader of the Ars Nova Piano Trio,
actively premiering her original works at venues in Taiwan and abroad.
Her recent compositions, Sterna Santa and Acorn Patterns, have been showcased
at international art fairs in Rome, Venice, and London. In 2025, she received the Gold
Award in Performing Arts at the Kyla Artist Prize in France, with coverage in Taiwan
Economic Daily News and French media such as Louis Press and EIFFELPOST. She
also earned the Silver Award in Performing Arts from the FADA Awards in the UK, and
in 2024 won first prize at the Hong Kong International Star of Art Creation Competition
as well as the Asia Arts Elite Festival.

Rooted in classical traditions yet infused with modern storytelling, Shen’s works
explore social and global themes, resonating with audiences worldwide.
